rethink tradition
This project is a campaign aimed at women and couples with the goal of challenging the societal norm of the
engagement ring. It addresses the three main issues with this object: the inherent inequality of only the woman
wearing one, the resulting commodification of the relationship, and the worth of a man as a person being tied to
its size and quality. The aesthetic of the ads is a parody of the DeBeers "A Diamond Is Forever" campaign and
incoporates Tiffany blue.
