Manchester et Liverpool
Following the creation of a mood board full of airy spring imagery as well as pale yellows, light pinks, and other soft tints, this pattern came into being. The geometric nature of the plaid and circles lends structure to a composition that aims to evoke spring breezes, dainty champagne bubbles, and shimmering morning dew. The original project involved ombré dyeing champagne colored polyester, stringing nylon monofilament to create the plaid, and using drops of hot glue in the intersections. Some of the drops are painted with Envirotex Lite Pour On High Gloss Finish mixed with Jacquard PearlEx Interference Violet powder.
